Ooh! Makes me feel three meters tall - just like the elephant bird: an extinct family of flightless birds made up of the genera Aepyornis and Mullerornis. These large birds, which were native to Madagascar, have been extinct since at least the 16th century due to the enormous amount of teasing they suffered at the hands of the homo sapiens who made fun of their bums. Little did the smaller creatures know that by the 18th century, the female of their species would sport similar behinds with the help of bustles and crinolines, and by the 21st century, with the help of french fries.

My portraits are more about me than they are about the people I photograph - Richard Avedon
If you are not passionately devoted to an idea, you can make very pleasant pictures but they won't make you cry - Ruth Bernhard
