goodbye

merry christmas everyone :)

we don't have snow here as yet, and honestly i don't want to see it this year. but then again i can't really stop the snow from falling when it's time.

i've been away. had finals, papers and procrastination to deal with. and i have been neglectful of this blog.

i forgot to mention about different things that had been happening in life in terms of photography. well i'm officially a permanent staff member of the school newspaper. mostly i work with the arts and entertainment section and wayne the editor is so cool. in novembers issue i had a small photography feature with about six of my photographs and a description of what they meant to me etc followed by a slideshow i did at one of the end of semester get-togethers for freshmen students. the feedback was nice, so many people have been supportive and encouraging. and now everyone recognizes me as the girl with the big camera walking around campus. i also had the most wonderful oppurtunity to go to the New York Times. and my God it's amazing there. one of the NY times editors works with our school paper to give us tips and all that, and she is just so amazing. i never got to meet with any photographers that day since it was pretty early for everyone to be in, but i met with photo editors and one sports photographer and it was just so so so amazing. the pictures that they have of aghanistan and the 9/11 aftermath are absolutely brilliant. i could totally imagine myself just working there. hahahaha.

last year i made this blog at around 3pm i remember on the 5th of May, 2005. my mom and i went to shore road, and i took pictures. i came back home and thought i really need to do something. i just have all these pictures, why not put them up on the internet. and so this blog came into being. everyone was/has been so supportive of it and much love to all :)

i am saying goodbye to this photoblog. it's been great here and i have loved every posting minute hahaha. if any of you want to see pictures up please visit the flickr page.
